Sneak Peek from last Week

Hi Everyone!

Well here it is Monday and time has gotten away from me again. Friday was Friday the 13th of September. Anything crazy happen to anyone?? Are you superstitious? I'd say I'm not. But I can be influenced in to thinking weird coincidences are because of a full moon or Friday the 13th.

For example on Friday it was my Dad's 51st bday (Happy Birthday Jeffer!) and the restaurant that my parents had chosen to eat at for his birthday dinner had a fire that morning and was closed! How weird is that!?

And thennn my coworker is pregnant and Friday was her last day in the office. She planned to leave a few minutes early so around 4pm I went down to say goodbye and congrats and goodluck and the works. So we chatted for about 15 minutes and when I went back to my desk I decided to back up and head downstairs to meet Britt in my lobby so we could cab home together. While I was standing there I saw an EMS car pull up and building security escorting HER out of the elevator. My heart sank and I asked her if she was ok...HER WATER BROKE! Right at her desk, 30min before the end of her very last day of work. Baby wasn't due unti Oct 6 and there she was...going in to labour!

How wild!?

Well that was the exciting end my week last week and here are my dailies from Mon-Fri too.

Feeling summery and the weather was nice so I wore a brand new dress (Old Navy) from my Chicago trip. I originally bought it with my friend's wedding ceremony in mind. However it turned out to be an evening affair and I didn't get to wear this little number. The morning was cool so I wore my pleather blazer (Dynamite) and when I got to work changed my shoes in to my black patent pumps from Aldo. 

 

The weather heated up! Feels just like Summer today. This is amazing. So it's not time for me to retire my brights just yet. I wore an office appropriate LBD (H&M) with leopard print flats (Target) and a boyfriend cut bright pink blazer (H&M ).

Another hot one today. I opted for pants today since I bought a couple new pairs from Loft while I was on vacation. I find Loft is the only store that has dress pants that I like. They sit nice in the hips but make a tapered leg with an ankle cut. They work so well in the summer or winter and with heels or flats.

 

I worked from home today. So comfy and cozy in my house. I slept right until my alarm went off at 8:28am and was ready for work by 8:30am. With a hot tea and my sweats on, it was a very productive day.

Back to the office today. But it's much more casual Friday!!! And also freezing cold outside. It dropped over night and was only a high of 14 degrees. I wore a sheer shirt (Joe Fresh), long enough to cover my butt, with leggings (H&M) and a boyfriend blazer (Dynamite) with a bright yellow scarf (Forever 21) and black flats (Target).


And that my friends was my wardrobe last week.
